On our first visit in Kenya we reached a number of schools that promote inclusion of children with disabilities. After visiting in the Western Province and Nyanza Province of Kenya, in the counties: Kisumu, Busia , Nambale, we reached to St. Martins Kisoko social school for children with disabilities. With the help of the inspiring Mrs. Evalyn Wakhusama and Mrs. Blessed Carolyne, we arranged a meeting with the school principal, Mrs. Justine Musumba and the teachers. In this session we learned about the situation of children with disabilities in the rural areas of Kenya, and how to reach them and meet their needs. The school of Justin is an inspiration and the team is a cluster of dedicated and heartwarming teachers. They are always seeking for new ways to help the children who are under their supervision in order to reveal the hidden potential in every child and make him/her live with the sense of competence and happiness.
